Tue, Mar. 7th, 2006, 10:20 am winter quarter
I am SO ready for this quarter to be over. I HATE writing classes and I had a million papers to do this quarter and a million pages to read of this book which I call "the summary of the history of blah". If all goes well I should get an A in choir, an A in step aerobics, an A in Japanese, an A-/B+ in Multicultural literature and a B in Music in Cross Cultural Perspectives with the hardest teacher in the music department (*#%!!&*%&!! is what I thought of this quarter. Anyway...just thought I'd share. Oh and i can't wait to finally start my major, which I don't get to start until summer, but it will be interesting. darn intensive courses for people who decide to change their major in their junior year.....oops? Hope everyone is well! - K
Ok so yesterday in Ellensburg it was 15 degrees with a 17 mile an hour wind so add in the wind chill and it was -2. This is not acceptable. I had to walk backwards because icicles were forming on my eyelids. TOTALLY LAME. Anyway, so now in Woodinville it's 38 degrees. It's like....still cold, but not as cold. So really there isn't any point to this entry, I just thought I would write something. I get to see my Crystal friend tomorrow and that's exciting. Now I get to go eat real sushi! YAY! - K

You are O'brien. Lost and confused, you are not sure what you want, that is, until your true love comes along. You are friendly, though not quick to let people get too close to you. You seem to be more absorbed in your work than your personal life. And people wonder why you spend so much time with your supposed "best friend" rather than your family. Your lover is Bashir. Chances are, you like English accents and drinking buddies. What gay Star Trek character are you? (by Pogo) brought to you by QuizillaI dislike O'Brian VERY MUCH!!!

Ok I'm back! It's been too long....and my hotmail account exploded because I hadn't signed in for over 30 days. Lame-o. Anyway, I HOPE to be signing in and checking LJ out more than I did last quarter....so far though, this quarter has been more poopy than the last one. But, I should have some procrastinating to do eventually ;) - K

Kate, your holiday theme song is Let It Snow Maybe you enjoy all of the year's holidays, but there's just something about this time of year… Even if Mother Nature cheats you out of a White Christmas, you know how to make the most of the season — whether with loved ones or strangers you meet along the way. As much as you might like to bundle up and romp outdoors, you also enjoy kicking back to bask in the glow of the season — or maybe the glow of a dozen strings of lights in your living room. You, more than others, really know how to feel cozy. And for someone who enjoys curling up by a fire, warming a cup of cocoa, or snuggling down with a classic Christmas movie, there's no better theme song. So just remember: If the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and if you've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Heck yeah, let it snow! But let me be home when that happens, eh?
 | You scored as William Wallace. The great Scottish warrior William Wallace led his people against their English oppressors in a campaign that won independence for Scotland and immortalized him in the hearts of his countrymen. With his warrior's heart, tactician's mind, and poet's soul, Wallace was a brilliant leader. He just wanted to live a simple life on his farm, but he gave it up to help his country in its time of need.

Well, the CWU choral festival was Tuesday and yesterday here and OMG there were a MILLION high school students. I was afraid to go into the building. But now that it's over, I'll be a lot less busy which is preferable. I barely had time to eat the last 2 days. But last night I got to play a thousand games of speed with Thom. It was really fun! And I had a burrito. What more could a girl ask for ;) - K
He's so nice!!!!!!! I went to give blood today for the first time and he happened to run into me on the way there. So, he was like "Oh, I'll walk you there" and then we had to go on a Red Cross hunt because we couldn't find the damn place! So we get in there and he's like "are you nervous"? And I wasn't at the time so I said no and he seemed impressed. THEN! This girl passed out and I was like -_- "ok now I'm nervous" so he said he would stay with me and I was like 'oh you don't have to if you don't want to' and he did anyway. Good thing too because I did really well until I sat down at the table afterwards to have cookies and juice and I was like 'ok, really dizzy' and then I collapsed onto the table. I was really embarrassed 'cause I have major pride and stuff. sooooo I woke up on the floor and I chilled there for a while and everyone was standing over me and they were like 'oh but you were doing so well!' So I chilled on the floor for a while like it was the place to be, and then they were like, do you think you can get back into the chair? And I said I think so and they put me back in the chair and I got dizzy again and Thom was like "Kate? How are you feeling?" and I was like.....'not good' so he helped me up and we walked towards the fancy laying down chair thing and I got half way there and was like 'ok here's good' and I almost passed out again so once again I'm laying on the floor and the nurses and other people were like...'Again?!' and it was really embarrassing. Then Thom said he would carry me home and tuck me into bed if I wanted and of course I have way too much pride for that, so we hung out on the floor and had a juice and cracker picnic and FINALLY I could stand and walk slowly but OMG it was so embarrassing. I even told them I was anemic but they were like 'oh you'll be fine' so....that's my story. OH! And then he carried my backpack for me and walked me to my room. It was very thoughtful. I'm impressed. So the point of the story is...er...I'M SO GLAD HE WAS THERE! - K

He's actually a good guy. His name is Thom and he's pretty attractive too! Weird huh? Usually I go for the guys with bad attitudes and guys that do drugs and guys that play D&D a lot. So. We'll see what happens here.
~*~Result nr 1~*~ Your power is: Clairvoyance Explanation: Your power is that you can look into the future and see what is coming. How far and long you can look is all depending on your skill level. This can, as all powers, be used in both evil and good. Even if it may seem like a boring ability it is a huge responsibility for the carrier, becase they are constantly tempted with doing the wrongs deeds (e.g. cheat on a test). It takes high morals to not be brought down with it.
Therefor you fit with this power quite well. You take responsibility and do what is the right thing to do. This does not make you a saint, since you're only human after all. But it makes a trustworthy person and you are loyal to camrades and/or team mates. In school you were probably a good student. If you were social varies from person to person, but most clairvoyant people tend to prefer their own company or that of close friends and family. That is because you are wise and knows how to treasure the reliable in your life, since you know popularity can be a false element. You are also not that big on taking risks and prefer what is already explored. That is because you don't like suprises, they can turn out bad and then you won't be in control. Negative aspects: Since you're always doing the right thing and being trustworthy all the time you can become frustrated. Also, all that you carry on your shoulders may stress you out. You need to relax to be in good mental shape. What Power is Compatible With You? [beautiful anime pictures + 12 detailed results] brought to you by Quizilla

That figures doesn't it, since I like swords and one of my nicknames is "The ice-pack" | Your Kissing Purity Score: 40% Pure | You're not one to kiss and tell...
But word is, you kiss pretty well. |
hmmm....I'm not sure if that's good or bad....oh well! | Your Brain's Pattern | You have a dreamy mind, full of fancy and fantasy. You have the ability to stay forever entertained with your thoughts. People may say you're hard to read, but that's because you're so internally focused. But when you do share what you're thinking, people are impressed with your imagination. |
One of my favorite activities is daydreaming, so that fits....can you tell I don't want to do homework? Perhaps I should practice Japanese so I don't have to do it all at once.....le sigh - K
